I started out on a church organ. Not a synthesizer. Not a drum machine. A church organ.
That was in the early 1980s, at the Adolf Fredrik Music Classes in Stockholm — a school for the musically gifted where 1,000 children applied and only 30 were selected. I was the sole student awarded "Excellent and Outstanding Musical Competence" — a recognition that changed how I saw myself and set the course for everything that followed.
From the organ came the piano, then the drums, the bass, the vocals, the production. Then the computer walked into my studio in the late 80s and told me I didn't need to play everything live. I said: "Watch me." I adapted. I always have.
The Career
Over four decades, I've written, produced, and performed across pop, electronic, disco, and funk. It all began with the release of the 7" single “Just 4 U”. A beloved and sought after gem that until this date giving me fan mail! My EDM track "My Skin" featuring American actress Jane Badler hit No. 1 on the US Club Chart and Top 10 UK Commercial Pop. I've charted on the Japanese Top 10 Album Chart, the UK Top 40, and in over 20 countries. My music has been streamed in nearly 60 countries and synced in several US TV shows.
I founded the world-renown Euro group Dreamland in the 90s. I created "A Trip In Trance," a series of CD albums spotlighting electronic composers, licensed in the US and Canada. I've done official remixes for Michael Jackson, YES, and KISS. I've recorded in Gloria Estefan's Crescent Moon Studio in Miami. I've been supported by Virgin Music.
I am a Full Voting Member of STIM — Sweden's performing rights society — a status held by roughly 1% of all affiliated creators.
The Pause
Then came a period I'll keep brief. The people I loved passed away. I stepped back. Corona entered and killed not only metaphorically speaking. The industry kept moving without me.
The Return
AI changed everything. Not because it's a replacement — I've never believed that. But because it let me do something I thought was impossible: I rebuilt. I recovered demo tapes from 1985 that had begun to decay — tapes I had to bake to play one last time. I restored sounds from synths that no longer exist. I fulfilled creative visions that were always too complex or expensive to produce on their own.
For the first time, my complete catalogue from 1985 to today is publicly available. Some of it was preserved. Some of it was resurrected. All of it is mine.
I'm also finishing the album that was never written to my 1987 hit "Just 4 U." And I'm re-introducing "Get Closer" from 1986 to a new generation.
What's Next
I'm channeling four decades of experience into quality film and soundtrack music — 80s-inspired, handcrafted, enhanced with modern technology, and ready for sync. I write in pop, electronic, disco, funk, and sacred organ music. I'm building the next chapter with AI as a tool, never a replacement.
I've survived the tape recorder, the computer, Auto-Tune, the sampler, streaming, and now AI. Every one was going to kill music. None did. They made me better.
Here's to the next four decades.
